| NORTH CAROLINA ZOOS Over the past seven years, Triangle Metro Zoo has entertained hundreds of thousands of visitors, many of them school children who enjoyed up-close educational encounters with the more than 83 varieties of animals on site. Through time the zoo has housed more than 500 animals – from antelopes to zebras – including such crowd favorites as lemurs, tigers, lions, bears, kangaroos and a giraffe. Don't forget your camera! |
