
| NORTH DAKOTA ZOOS Dakota Zoo offers a variety of other fun things to do while visiting the 600 plus animals that call it their home. Hop on board the Tribune Express or the Leach Express and take a 20-minute train ride through the Zoo to learn more about some of the furry and feathered friends you'll view. The Red River Zoo is located in southwest Fargo, North Dakota on thirty-three acres of land, formerly the George Anderson Family Red River Ranch. The zoo features exotic and native animals and plants from areas around the world with similar climates to the Red River Valley. Over three hundred animals of seventy-five species reside at the Red River Zoo. Chahinkapa Zoo is committed to providing clean and green natural habitats for its animal residents and aesthetic and educational leisure for its zoo visitors. Over 200 animals and birds of 60 different species including otters, bison, monkeys, gibbon apes, camels, snow leopards, black bears, wallabies, cougars, gemsbok, llamas, elk and Siberian tigers, make the zoo their home.
